I was very excited about the new series because everything is just adorable, especially the name of the mask sheet. It is specially named by Tammy!

What I like about the sheet mask:

1. Very thin, fits well to the face: It is made out of 100% natural eco-friendly fabric to effectively deliver the efficacy of the essence of the rich fruits.

2. Lots of essences: the essences are formulated with reduced viscosity that are available in creams.

3. Moisturising: contains strong antioxidant with harmony of fruits and natural ingredients of plants to care for each skin concern such as hydration, nutrition, whitening and blemishes. The PH balancing helps strengthens skin barrier as well as re-charge the skin with fresh energy.

The only thing I can be picky of is that it takes some time to put the mask on because it’s really thin, and it can be messy. But being thin is also the good point.. haha.

WATER-ME-LONG, Watermelon ​Moist ​Mask Ingredients and benefits:

● The watermelon fruit has 92% of water which is excellent for moisturizing and soothing for the skin during the hot weather.

● The excellent absorption of skin-friendly unsaturated fatty acid provides shininess and elasticity to the skin.

● It is mix with hibiscus flower extract that contains ​Antocyanin​, an antioxidant to prevent the skin from aging.

SPARKLE-ME-BRIGHT, Lemon Lime ​Whitening Mask Ingredients and benefits:

● Lemon and lime contains high vitamin C ingredient to help repair and protect the skin from UV damage.

● The vitamin C’s function of inhibiting melanin production provides a clear and transparent skin.

How to use:

1. Gently clean your skin with toner after washing the face.

2. Open the pouch and remove the film, then apply the sheet mask on face properly and leave it for 10-20 minutes.

3. Take off the mask and gently pat the residue essence until fully absorbed.

Lovely & Cute Pastel Color and Cookie-shaped Giant and Baby Meringue Puffs. It is the first beauty tool from A’bloom by Althea. This lovely, cute pastel pink colour and cookie-shaped meringue puff will definitely help you to achieve the perfect skin makeup.

The giant meringue puff will provide quick and smooth makeup application on the wide surface of the skin (cheek, forehead) while the baby meringue puff will provide fine and detailed makeup application on the small surface of the skin (wings of the nose, under eye) with its pointed tips.

The meringue puffs are made out of non-latex sponge with hydrophilic properties which will grow 1.5 times bigger than normal size when soaked with water allowing makeup to be applied perfectly on the skin.

I hardly put on foundation nowadays, it is just velvet Sunaway sunscreen and Velvet powder from Althea daily unless I have a special occasion to attend. I tried using the puff to apply my sunscreen and even put on foundation just to test how well it works.

Well, the first impression: It is really soft and gentle to the skin. Second, it seems to spread the product better on my skin compared to my bare hands. It is more even and it has a nice matte finishing. I think it is way more comfortable than using a brush. You should really get one because it is really too cute not to have!

Next, let's take a look at BHA Blackhead Blaster. A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster is an easy and quick triple treatment for blackheads, whiteheads and dead skin for daily care. It contains natural ingredients to help gently deep cleanse the pores and removing dead skin cells while preventing any irritations or redness on the skin.

It contains natural BHA ingredient helps to deep pore cleanse by exfoliating the dead skin cells. Apricot seed powder helps to remove excessive sebum and Charcoal will absorb the dirt in the pores.

There's also tea tree leaf oil helps to soothe as well as prevent any redness and irritations on the skin.

Dampened the skin, apply the stick directly on targeted areas and massage in circular motions for 30 seconds. After that, rinse off with water. I love the scent and it feels really refreshing after usage! I guess it's because of the tea tree oil.

After the first use, the effect wasn't really obvious. But I recommend using it daily to be able to see the effect kicked in. After using it for a few days, I can see lesser blackheads on my nose but I have quite a few stubborn ones still clinging on my pores. Well, I have not gone for a facial wash for more than 2 years so I would say, that's reasonable.

Don’t Forget To Love Yourself

Life is not easy. Being a mum is challenging, being a Mum of two and working is even harder. And it’s been three years.

Many of us, are always busy. Busy working, busy with kids, busy living the day to day life which makes us often forget to live the moment. Don’t believe me? Ask yourself, when was the last time you went for a facial wash? When was the last time you pamper yourself with a massage, a manicure or even a good meal? When was the last time you have a true “me time” to love yourself and make your soul happy?

The Best Way to Travel from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore

Are you travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore? Wonder which travel option should you take? Well, I would say take the plane and This Is Why You Should Get A Flight Ticket Now!

Malaysia and Singapore have had sort of a turbulent love-hate relationship for aeons now. From friendly banter to harsh criticisms, and from resource sharing to sporting squabbles, they’ve exchanged it all. But they’ll always be there for one another because they’re located right next to each other.

There’s also a lot of travel shenanigans happening between Malaysia and Singapore, especially from Kuala Lumpur. Taking a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore is just one of the many routes.

There are several reasons why a lot of people would want to buy a flight ticket right away and head over to Singapore after spending time in Kuala Lumpur. While Malaysia is rich in its natural heritage, culture, diversity and an absolute galore of foodies, the shopping experience gets a few fold better once you cross that border.

The general nightlife may be a close tie between the two, but Singapore does have the added advantage of it being favoured by international artists and DJ’s. Music acts from Popstars, big EDM names, and a few more Eastern icons keep the little country bumping all year long. So that’s another incentive for the traffic.

Riding Options

The distance isn’t that bad and there are several ways to get from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. Driving over is pretty common. It takes about six hours with a nice rest stop through the North-South Expressway from KL Sentral straight over to the Gardens by the Bay area. The same goes for buses, and there are some really comfortable ones that rival even aeroplanes. I think it’s one of those moments when you think why to buy a flight ticket when you can just drive there.

You could also take the train over, which would roughly set you back anywhere between eight to ten hours. It’s the most affordable and relaxing option, albeit a bit dull. People usually opt for the night train, sleeping through the ride and arriving in the morning. There are comfortable coach and carriages with sleeping decks available for the extended hours.

The best option by far would honestly be flying over. It takes a little less than an hour and the flights are considered as a daily shuttle so the rates are very much on the low end too. There are also several airlines providing back and forth flights, a lot of which are also offering their seat tickets with partners like hotel and airline booking websites such as Traveloka. These sites often would have the best available flight ticket deals to lock in their customers so that both parties benefit.

Be Careful Though

While the journey itself is said to be part of the adventure, be aware of the pro’s and con’s of each of your travel option. Making the drive direct to Singapore may be fun, but it can get a bit pricey as you start considering the petrol costs and toll booths. Don’t forget the energy and focus you need while driving. It’s usually a pretty smooth ride, but the journey can stretch to an arduous 10 to 12 hours during the peak seasons - both ways. Bus rides too. So yeah.

The train ride may be steadier, but in the event of the occasional break down, unplanned and necessary repair stops may turn an eight hour ride into an indefinite break can seriously put a dent on your travel plans.

So know your options as you make your way down from KL over to Singapore and you’re golden. By the way, here’s an interesting little trivia - Google Maps says it takes around 80 hours to get there if you were to walk.

Hi there! It's been awhile. I know I have been saying this, but life is really busy after having a child and things just get tougher when you have a BOSS BABY (I think they should get my girl to act for BOSS BABY instead).

My friends will know that I've been searching for the perfect product to remove my makeup FAST. CLEAN. FRESH. for the longest time. I've been using oil-based remover from numerous brands. Some people say water-based is better as it will not clog pores and I tried. It is just too troublesome and too slow, which is why I switched back to oil-based remover because it is much faster (for me at least), although I don't really like the oily feel on my skin.

My life changed after I tried my face with Paradiso Garden Makeup Removing Lotion. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING things here. It is really my LIFE CHANGING MAKEUP REMOVER! There are three types of removing lotion for different skin type and effect. Extra Purifying Black Rose Removing Lotion is for oily or combination skin. Hydration Plus Blue Lotus Removing Lotion is for dry or sensitive skin, and Anti-Ageing Hibiscus Syriacus Removing Lotion is recommended those who have aged skin.

This removing lotion contains rich organic plants oil. It is enriched with black rose extract and active carbon which is able to provide deep skin cleansing. It claims to dissolve stubborn cosmetics in 10 seconds, so I decided to put in on a challenge.

These are the ingredients.

I have my half face with makeup here.

Shake the bottle well before use. Pumped 2-3 pumps of the removing lotion, cleanse the face with circular motion.

You can see from the video, the pink spot I had on my cheek disappeared within a few seconds! Fantastic right? After removing everything, rinse it with clean water. It feels very refreshing and clean after the wash. It is so clean that I feel there's no need to cleanse the face with facial wash after that. However, you are encouraged to use your daily face cleanser to wash off the remaining active carbon that's left on your face.

I have to say this is a long overdue post due to a few reasons. I shall not bored you with the reasons so let's go straight to the point of this post.

If you still remember, I received a box of new products from Realash few months back. It consist of a bottle of eyelash enhancer and a brow enhancer. Read it >>here<< to help you bring back some memories.

I was supposed to update on the result of the product after a month but I was so tied up with work and baby that I always forget to apply the serums daily, which affects the end results. Last month I finally able to commit myself into using the serums daily to have a fair and honest review.

First, I have to say I have a slight preference over the brow serum as I got to see a more visible result compared to Realash eyelash enhance. But, I have to say it might due to my lashes are already long and thick which is why I couldn't see obvious changes.

Now, cut the crap. Let the photos do the talking.

You can see that the end of my brows in the "before" photo is rather naked (very few strands of hair). But in the "after" photo, it looks fuller! I can see new fine hair growing slow and steady! As for my lashes, to be honest, I don't see any increase in length but it is stronger, healthier and fuller. I wanted to see if the eyelash enhancer works better on people who has shorter lashes, so I let my friend who has shorter lashes to give it a try. She says she does see improvements. Her lashes are slightly longer and definitely thicker!

When it comes to a skincare routine, normally I have at least 6 steps to complete the whole process, cleansing (sometimes double cleanse), scrub (once a week), toner, mask sheet (once a week), pore strip (once a week), emulsion/ essence/ serum, moisturizer, and lastly eye cream. I bet some of you have more. I've been trying to find a way to simplify these steps because I am a busy mommy. I need to do things quick, but I could not forgo any of the steps as all of them are equally important.

Well, recently I seem to found a way to a simpler life (simpler skincare routine = simpler life!). Let me introduce you the BCL Trio!

Step 1 : Cleanser - Tsururi Ghassoul Paste

Before I go deep into each product, let's have a short introduction on BCL AHA by Cleansing Research series (CR) and Tsururi Ghassoul Clay series (TGC). CR offers a wide range of cleanser to suit different skin type and usage needs. These AHA cleansers provide remarkable surface cleansing power, and deep cleansing keratin care leaving your skin clean, smooth and revitalize.

Ghassoul clay is the main ingredient in the TGC series. It is naturally found from ancient deposits deep within the Atlas Mountain in the northeastern region Morocco. Ghassoul clay contains high mineral contents that are beneficial to the skin. Do you know that nowadays my shopping cart no longer contains beauty or makeup products? 90% of them are now baby related. Well, that's how a baby changes you, an amazing change, though.

Although there are cheaper ones but I wouldn't want to put my baby's delicate skin at stake (nappy rash is horror!). What I can do is to try to save money, which is why I am always in the search for the best deal when it comes to diaper, milk powder or in fact, all baby related stuff, because EVERY PENNY COUNTS!
