For so many years, I've tried uncountable Tiramisu from various pastry/ bakery shops but none, None of them came close to the very first one that I've tasted when I was 8 or so.
It is the holy Tiramisu made and served by Deutsches Gasthaus.
Deutsches Gasthaus has several branches in KL. The one I went is located at 24G, Medan Setia 2, Plaza Damansara, 50490 KL.

I was there in the night so I don't have a clearer picture of the outlet, hence the above photo by the courtesy of Google.
Enough for the touring? Ready for the food? Okay, lets go.
We only had 3 dishes that night, mainly was because I had a late lunch. The first dish will be their Pork Knuckle. Their perennial bestseller of all time. It comes in a portions that's sufficient to feed half of Bavaria.
Crispy golden skin and it's oh-so-tender meat, I.. I can't even! No doubt for it to be the best/ top star of the restaurant.
Salmon. Sorry, I can't remember what is the actual name of this dish. All I can remember is Salmon. lol Sign of getting old huh?
I love fish, and I love Salmon. That night, I though I had the most delicious Salmon I've ever tried (wait till I've tried Japan ones, then I know who's better).
It is slightly crispy on the outside, and yet so tender, fresh, juicy in the inside. totally no fishy smell/ taste at all if you are curious. I.. I can't speak after the first bite. My mouth was wide open but I literally can't speak. It is just too good for any words to describe.
Pork schnitzel. I have to admit when I first heard the name, I have no idea what it is or how it looks like.
But when the dish was served, I thought "walao, need to have such chim name bo? Isn't this pork chop/ cutlet that even I know how to make? But I was only half right, it does taste like pork cutlet (except crispier then mine), but what I was wrong about was the paste. See the mushroom sauce? Okay, I hereby declare that's the best mushroom sauce I've tried. No joke. It's made by fresh mushroOommss! it's thick, sorta creamy, not very salty, can even taste some sweetness! Man, all you need to know is.. Oh-so-tasty!!
I've always save the best for the last, you know it right?
Yes! I present you My forever love, Tiramisu.
Who's aunt Dion you asked? Erm... Oh, oh... did I not mention Deutsches Gasthaus is owned by Aunt Dion, my parent's very good friend? They've known each other for half of their lifetime.
That's Mummy, Aunt Dion and her daughter Yin Pin.
Okay, I also want to take photo leh.. Hand over my camera to the staff and squeezed in. Tadah, a group photo to end this yummilicious post.
Hope you enjoyed!
